Action flick “Kundo” brought in 3 million viewers within only five days since its release.

The July 27 record is impressive with the fourth installment of Hollywood blockbuster series “Transformers” having taken eight days to break the mark, market watchers say. “Kundo” also topped the local box office sales on that day.

The Korean movie featuring such renowned actors as Ha Jung-woo and Gang Dong-won depicts the Joseon period’s corruption among the ruling class and grassroots’ rise against exploitation.
