The British royal couple -- Prince William and Kate Middleton -- are expecting their second child in April next year, the couple announced yesterday.

William and Kate announced in September that they were expecting a second baby, but no date was offered to the public.

Prince William’s office further said that Kate was still being treated by doctors at her residence for acute morning sickness.

The new baby whose gender is yet to be known will be fourth in line to the throne, following its sibling, Prince George.
