When the “Bridget Jones’ Diary” star Renee Zellweger hit the red carpet at a Hollywood benefit on Oct. 20, people on the Web went “huh?” with her dramatic change of appearance.

The online world demanded: What kind of cosmetic surgery has she had? Her face looks “unrecognizable.” Yet, Zellweger fended off the plastic surgery rumor, saying the allegation was “silly.”

“I’m glad folks think I look different!” she told People magazine. “I’m living a different, happy, more fulfilling life, and I’m thrilled that perhaps it shows.”
