South Korea stood at 14th in terms of average annual wages among the OECD member countries, according to a report on May 6.
The report by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development said that a Korean worker in a one-person household earned $46,664 annually in 2014.
The figure is higher than the OECD average of $40,770.
The top earner was Switzerland ($66,506) and the lowest was Mexico ($12,373).
