InStyle fashion magazine released photos from a fashion shoot with K-pop singer Bora, a member of girl group Sistar, Wednesday.

Bora features in the sporty-casual shoot in the magazine’s July issue and on its website.

The singer talked about her role in the Web drama “Abujaengi (Flatterer),” based on the Web cartoon of the same title in which she has been cast in the lead role.

“The Web drama takes place ... around a troublemaker who returns to high school,” said Bora to InStyle magazine. “My character Bong-hui is laid-back and gets along well with everyone, but has difficulty expressing her feelings in front of people she likes.”

Bora said she appreciated being cast in the romantic comedy, as it contrasts with “strong characters that dominate (many) drama series.”

K-pop singer Lee Jae-jin, from F.T. Island, plays her on-screen love interest.

Bora’s band, Sistar, is also enjoying a chart-topping ride with its latest EP “Shake It” and the title single.
